Australian Jazz and Commercial Recording Artist

Ralph has performed and recorded with many artists in Australia and overseas including international stars K.C and the Sunshine Band, Boy George and Culture Club, Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Michael Crawford, Wayne Newton, Louie Bellson, Bobby Shew, Joe Williams, Al Jarreau, Tim Rice, Harry Connick Jnr, Glenn Close, Michael Buble, Wayne Bergeron, Jerry Lewis, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, Lisa Simone (daughter of Nina Simone) and Australian National Artists James Morrison, Grace Knight, Don Burrows, Anthony Warlow, Marcia Hines, Frank Bennett, Tommy Tycho, Rhonda Burchmore, Marina Prior, Emma Pask, Silverchair, John Foreman, The Black Sorrows, Australian Idol and since 1998 lead trumpet player on Australian leading man Tom Burlinson’s “Frank – The Sinatra Story in Song”. Ralph also played with a TV band on CH9 for 9 years. For the 2002, 2003 and 2004 Sydney Festivals, Ralph assembled an Australian All Star Jazz Orchestra for world-renowned US composers and arrangers Maria Schneider, Bob Florence and Rob McConnell of The Boss Brass. 

Ralph has also performed in several stage and theatre productions including 42nd Street, Hot Shoe Shuffle, Porgy and Bess, A Chorus Line, Beauty and the Beast, Guys and Dolls, Cats and Fame to name a few. He has also worked on over 150 albums by various artists and bands, as well as numerous Australian and international film scores and TV commercials.
